Pinhdar - Parallel

Suspended halfway between electronic rarefactions and lyric (or) dark rock pop author, Pinhdar have released "Parallel" (Fruits de Mer).

The duo, composed of the singer and author Cecilia Miradoli and by the musician and producer Max Tarenzi, with the help of the famous Scottish producer Howie B, condense, with old style, in about 35 minutes, 8 songs in which music and lyrics become elegant narration so dear and close to the dark wave current even if dressed in a contemporary reinterpretation.

Opens the sonic journey “Anacreon”, Which embodies the incipit in which poetics is a prelude to the classic quotationism that accompanies the Pinhdar since the choice of their name.

The eponymous song is marked by a slow guitar arpeggio on an electric drone, while the voice becomes "Norse", before a soliloquy breaks the whole thing in two.

"Glass Soul"Slightly accelerates the times before" Corri "(the only song with the title in Italian), evokes, in the guitars, abrasions from post rock nineties.

"Atoms and Dust”With, the rhythmic and the sung, is a reinterpretation of a west coast Hippie in which guitars from an earlier future are grafted.

"The Hour of Now", With its liquid and reverse sounds and its swaying, on squared rhythmics, brings to mind the beautiful cover of Elisabetta Cardella: rationalism of a house planted on water.

What distinguishes “Parallel” is the perfect homogeneity of the whole, a conception that appears to the listening almost unique, without solution of continuity, as in the writing of a decadent romantic novel in which each element is placed in its place with the right functionality.
