Celemony has updated and immediately made available its flagship program: Melodyne v.5, certainly the most used program dedicated to “intonation” in the world, awarding prizes, styles and genres in the best professional studios.
Among the new features of the program, there is the recognition of vocal components "not in tune”, Such as sibilants and breaths that are processed independently from the rest of the vocal material, in all aspects of optimization allowed by the program, including amplitude management.
Still regarding the width, the Tool has also been included "Fade" for a quick and effective management of fades in and out, also note by note, as well as a "macro”Of the Leveling of the entire selected portion
A new operational step is then represented by Chord Track, which opens up new creative possibilities. The Chord Track allows you to influence audio recordings by adapting them to the harmony written in the underlying beat / tempo line.
Thanks to the automatic recognition algorithms, the tool is well suited to be used not only by musicians but also by producers who are fasting with the subject (I hope this does not give birth to a new generation of "pseudo-Producers" who have little to do! ed).
A new recognition algorithm called "Percussive pitched”, As well as all the other already established and consolidated algorithms have been improved.
Finally, there is a complete rewriting of the "Keyboard Commands" which can be customized by the user.
The formats available are the usual ones VST, AU, AAX and the most performing ARA which provides for complete integration within the DAW (at least those that support this new protocol: Studio One, Cubase Pro, Logic Pro X, primarily).
The costs for the full versions are the same as always: professional! The updates instead differ according to the versions, according to the indications below, knowing that it is also possible to update from a lower version than the "Studio" version which is the most complete:
- 149 € for Melodyne Studio 5 (from “Studio 4” version).
- 99 € for Melodyne Editor 5 (from “Editor 4” version).
- 49 € for Melodyne Assistant (from version “Assistant 4”).
The update is free for those who registered it after March 1st.
However, a version is available demo trials of 30 days.
