In this video, the spotlight is on the Electric Bass. Often underestimated instrument in musical productions. Thanks to RPM Edizioni and MIDImarket.it and to "Right Sound" we will try to overturn the considerations and make them appreciate the correct importance!
We see that when it was decided to produce these videos, the RPM they spared no expense and tried, right from the initial project, to pay attention to all the details, starting with the musicians. In this video the Electric Bass is presented by the much appreciated Dario Deidda, a musician from Salerno who needs no introduction, given his presence on the most coveted stages by all Italian musicians.
Dario, in addition to introducing some very engaging riffs, also gives us an explanation on the use of pickup and a hint of the difference between active bass e passive. It underlines its peculiarities and shows with great skill what the advantages and disadvantages can be in using the bass in different microphone recording modes, i.e. with the use of OF Box.
Needless to say, given the frequency production of medium-low range, if you don't have a monitor that is up to the task, it will be very difficult to appreciate the sound differences.
For the same reason, I do not recommend the use of headphones this time.
