Once good musicians had the "balls". Today it is more fashionable to have boobs! We are submerged by an avalanche of beautiful and provocative women who, in skimpy clothes, play their instruments.
I'm not arguing, it's a feast for the eyes and often also for the ears! With the advent of social media it was inevitable that being justgood is no longer good enough. Today you have to be good, beautiful and sexy! Let's start by saying that, unlike stereotypes, these models / musicians have truly remarkable expressive and executive skills. I'm not the one to say it, the qualifications are clear. They are people who have played in the greatest theaters in the world, in orchestras and international productions and demonstrate an evident instrumental virtuosity. They obviously carry a lot of criticism related to appearance inappropriatein some theaters, distracting and misleadingin others… looking at the views they make online it seems to matter very little! I would like to summarise - not exactly encyclopedic - following in the footsteps of a man, Stjepan Hauser. You may wonder why, he does not actually have boobs, but follow me for a moment.
At the beginning it was the Duo, 2Cellos, a couple formed by the young and beautiful Croatian cellists Hauser and Šulić, which has somewhat cleared the classic cello, bringing pop music songs to the international stage in an unconventional way, totaling hundreds of millions of clicks on youtube, making 5 CDs with Sony - sold mostly on online platforms -, playing with worldwide famous artists (from Steve Vai to our Zucchero Fornaciari, from Lang Lang to Elton John...).
From 2018, the date of their last album, the two also began a solo career. While Sulic devotes himself to a more sophisticated type of music, eclipsing himself a little, Hauser he follows, riding it, to a social genre that is trendy, that of the beautiful, talented and sensual cellist who plays with musicians of equal beauty. But let's get back to the boobs ... I can't know if it was Sony's strategy, the choice of some producer, individual initiative or simply the case, but certainly Hauser is often accompanied by respectable beauties of music. A sort of social trend of beauty, sensual and good has been created. If you follow each of the musicians mentioned you will also find all the others that I have omitted! It is a kind of Ariadne's thread Fashion-Music thread.
Caroline Campbell, violinist American, soloist in the greatest orchestras in the world and in concert, always as a soloist, at the Carnegie Hall. She did duets with Andrea Bocelli, Sting, Michael Bublé, --Chris Botti, Josh Groban, Rod Stewart, Julio Iglesias and obviously with a sweaty and very sensual Hauser.
It is no coincidence that Caroline has also paired with another female beauty champion, the cellist Tina Guo (who appears in the background of the photo above).
The concert is a sort of musical sexual intercourse, intense, winking, with Hauser's sighs to mark the time.

Lola Astanova, is among the most chatted about of the moment because she gave her best during the quarantine (Covid 19) playing in underwear. She is a Pianist, very provocative Russian-American and very clicked on social networks. Very high heels, very long legs, very short miniskirts. She played everywhere (including the Carnegie Hall)and with anyone (in Italy with Andrea Bocellito name one). With Hauser she shared many videos on the net and a tour. The pattern is always the same, the musicians stand very close, winks, looks and ambiguous sighs. In recent years Lola has invested in plastic surgery, her business of course, but let me underline the verb “to invest”!

Ksenia Sidorova, accordionist Latvian, a little less known in the West because she is more dedicated to the Russian-Asian market. She has played in many international orchestras and was present at the Royal Albert Hall to celebrate 50 years of Sting.

Benedetta Caretta, singer, Italian. Here the love story seems to finally be true, they are in love! The web had a flurry of videos with Hauser before and during the lockdown. Beautiful clean voice, she sang duets with many, from Elisa to Michael Bublè to Alessandra Amoroso to Katherine Jenkins. Her story is more televised than others, from the tv show I sing (as a child) to The Voice. She currently has a solo career and this unprecedented online duo of cello, backing track and vocals, “Hauser and Señorita”.

The article hits the nail on the head: today, knowing how to play isn't enough; you need to know how to communicate. The fashion music phenomenon pioneered by artists like Hauser isn't a limitation, but rather an evolution of music marketing.
Let's be honest: the atmosphere that is created between Hauser and partners like Caroline Campbell or Lola Astanova transforms the concert into a sort of artistic sexual relationship, made of glances and tension, which captivates the audience well beyond pure technique.
The real added value of this piece, however, is the reminder that, behind the skimpy clothing and obvious sexual allure, lies a monstrous academic preparation. These musicians aren't "made"—they truly are: virtuosos who have decided to use their beauty to amplify their talent. If this helps take classical music out of the museums and make it go viral, then all the more reason to bring in the breasts, heels, and sighs!
