With the arrival of autumn, Ableton has churned out two new updates: push 2 and Ableton Live 9.5.
The new version of Live 9.5 was born for integration with Pushxnumx but it features the addition of several interesting elements.
The sampler Ableton Simpler it was significantly 
improved with a redesigned interface and a new one analog filter. It is also possible to slice and warp samples. We can therefore assign the sounds to the keys of a keyboard or Push.
The analog filter, on the other hand, was created to satisfy the requests for more “analog” sounds, synthesis models closer to analog synthesis models. The result in collaboration with Cytomic you can hear it here:
New tools have been added including 3 new ones synthesizers Max.
- bass, a monosynth for low frequency sounds
- Poli, a synth specializing in strings, pads and stabs
- Multi, the synth for fast and direct integration with Push 2
Live 9.5 has been enhanced with new waveforms.
The mixer volumes also indicate the RMS level

It is one of the most curious upgrades! The app by Ableton for iOs synchronize via wireless!! It's a new system of sync which does without midi cables and sound cards but still allows you to keep everything in time. The novelty does not only concern Live but also Apps like i Kaossilator, audio bus, bassline, loopy e Triqtraq.
The SDK development environment of the Link platform is open, so let's expect a new revolution in the field of synchronization between apps.
