Also because the Monitors never play alone but what we hear is the sum of the sound of the speakers plus the interaction with the environment, the main objective of the new ADAM A series monitors is, thanks also to powerful onboard DSP and programs / management filters, that of “adapting” to the environmental acoustics, also trying to satisfy the user's needs / tastes / preferences.
The following are the findings of the first ADAM statements and presentation documents: - Best engineering practices, modern materials technology and advanced DSP were used to create the new A Series.
Using the A Control software, Advanced filters can be sent directly to the monitors to help compensate for imperfect room acoustics. DSPs support filters of sonar works (third party) industry leaders.
Using Sonarworks SoundID Reference and a measurement microphone it will be possible to calibrate the speakers of the A series with the room and the taste of the listener. The firmware upgradeable allows these monitors to evolve, so that customers can continue to benefit from future innovations from ADAM Audio. The DSP-based functionality of all A-Series monitors can be controlled remotely and in real time via Ethernet using A Consl.
The ADAM Audio A series consists of five models, A4V, A7V, A44H, A77H e A8H, which can be the solution for a wide range of professional and home offices, as well as for environments Broadcast, fixed installation, 3D, immersive and home audio. Innovations such as rotatable HPS waveguide technology and DSP-based room correction allow users to “tune” the speakers for their room and their ears.
The A4V and A7V monitors will be available to end customers from May, the A44H, A77H and A8H will be available in late summer 2022.
We look forward to receiving a pair of A series monitors to be tested in preview
