Two for One, a newly formed duo but of historical and fraternal friendship, represent the synthesis of the numerous proverbs (popular wisdom) on the theme of the title.
In fact, how many times have you heard:
- virtue of necessity
- a door closes and a door opens
- any impediment is beneficial
- not all evils come to harm
-etc…
Well, these two "elderly 50-year-old friends", always with a passion for music and the desire to "have a play together" have decided, also stimulated by the period of home isolation due to the pandemic, to use the increased free time at their disposal, just to play together. But how to do it without being able to meet physically and wanting not to make simple covers but original songs that require ideas, rehearsals, proposals, rehearsal takes, recordings, arrangements, etc ...?
Response: taking advantage of the technology (music and more) that is available today.
The songs produced, their 4th song was released yesterday- Fourth Step, are all registered in home studio and completely remotely, that is, playing and collaborating each from their own home studio. This, as we said, also thanks to current technology that allows you to do things that were unthinkable until yesterday.
Taking advantage of the initial need (to overcome isolation), they then discovered and appreciated the new way of working and making music together, which is now difficult for them to give up.
Optimization, scheduling of times, absence of useless moments, the possibility of being operational every time you are proactive ... these are just some of the advantages. It is enough to hear often to exchange ideas, opinions, projects, to have them optimized platforms and possibly similar, good programs, one Internet network fast and fun is guaranteed.
Furthermore, in a flash, some of the problems that seemed insurmountable until a few days earlier disappear. First of all that of physical location in fact, now it is possible to collaborate even if physically located at opposite poles of the earth and this certainly opens up a "new world" for making music and more.
Also questions like: ... so, see you tomorrow and play? No, tomorrow I can't do the day after tomorrow…, but for me the day after tomorrow it's impossible… etc. they disappear suddenly and no longer make any sense. No now with a whatsapp or a phone call, tell your friend and musician ... look that I sent you the song, when you have time and desire, open it, listen to it and then we'll talk. If you want, start playing your part and then we decide how to proceed ... ..

Produced the first songs, the next step, since they had fun, produced unreleased and music is sharing ..., without big pretensions, if not the pleasure of sharing, they opened the channels youtube e soundcloud on which to post their songs.
One thing comes out clearly from this experience: today there is a new path to take (thanks to the skilful use of technology) that allows you to play, compose, have fun, eliminate problems, simplify collaboration ..., all beyond the physical space and the coincident time.
