From now on, all Universal Audio audio interfaces, equipped with Thunderbolt connection: Apollo Twin, Apollo 8 (DUO and QUAD), Apollo 8p, Apollo 16 and Apollo FireWire, as well as all UAD-2 Satellite Thunderbolt cards, can be connected to any computer with Windows 10 on board; this is for the Thunderbolt 3 connection (via Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt certified adapters).
In the new software version UAD v9.0, will also be released 2 console for interfaces FireWire Apollo ed Apollo 16. Console 2 will give Apollo FireWire users a host of new features, much improved over the original Console app. Among others: the possibility to organize plug-ins with drag-and-drop and the custom settings of the channel strips designed by the best producers and sound engineers such as Darrell Thorpe (Beck, Radiohead), Dave Isaac (Prince, Eric Clapton), Jeff Balding (Taylor Swift, Megadeth) and many others.

All Apollo interfaces and Thunderbolt-equipped UAD-2 cards will now be available to users Windows 10 su PC with Thunderbolt 3
- It will allow all current Apollo and Apollo 16 FireWire PC users to upgrade their equipment and bring them to the speed and stability of the Thunderbolt connection via UA's Thunderbolt Option Card.
- Compatible with Windows 10 only 64-bit
- PCs must be equipped with Thunderbolt 3 via USB-C (older Thunderbolt systems are not supported)
