Leader in digital audio production Antelope Audio once again sets new standards of audio fidelity in the year of Rocky Mmountain Aaudio Fest (RMAF) presenting its new Zodiac Platinum DSD DAC in combination with the 10M Audiophile Atomic Clock.
Participants of RMAF will be among the first in the United States to experience the unmatched sound quality made possible by the high clock frequency and architecture of the Quad DAC present in the Zodiac Platinum when connected to the Audiophile 10M Atomic Clock system, an updated and improved version of the renowned Antelope Audio ISOCHRONE 10M Clock generator.
During the demonstration at the RMAF, the Antelope suite will be presented by basing the setup on two systems built around the Zodiac Platinum DAC, connecting it in a first configuration to the 10M Audiophile Atomic Clock and in the other using it exclusively as a DAC / preamp. The digital signals will originate from the server Music Vault M7 of Sound Science. The first system (which supports 10M by default) will also have an integrated amplifier Lyngdorf 2170 with Room Perfect's room acoustic correction, all done on a pair of full range electrostatic speakers King Sound Prince 3.
The second system, which will use Zodiac Platinum as a DAC / preamplifier, receives the digital signal from the Second Music Vault music server. The Zodiac Platinum will be used to power an M20 stereo tube tube amplifier that will drive two Kingsound H3 electrostatic headphones. The Zodiac Platinum will also power a solid state headphone amp Kingsound M10 which will be driving another pair of electrostatic headphones Kingsound H3.
