In the beating heart of the historic center of Naples in the shadow of the San Pietro a Maiella Conservatory, directly from Florence Stephen Carlesi e Andrea Pratesi di Dolphin's Sound presented their line of stompboxes at Loveri Musical Instruments , currently the only store in Campania.
Dolphin's Sound is a very young Florentine company, present for about a year and a half on the market, with a decent line of products with purely analogue effects, currently they were also present at the Pizzighettone fair at Music Wall and will be present in Milan at the Second Hand Guitar.
There were many news as well as a lot of curiosity from the public, the presentation with an attached demonstration by the endorser Charles of Pinto showed the following lines to the public:
- The naked men - First production line formed by the David Distorsion, Perseo Boost and the Neptune Fuzz, characterized by a raw appearance but full of timbre substance, the line historically and artistically refers to the three statues present in Piazza della Signoria in Florence, a touch of class that embraces the culture of the Italian boot.
- The Dante trilogy - Line dedicated to father Dante composed of Inferno Distorsion, Purgatorio Overdrive and Paradiso Boost, it is supported by a more elegant design than the naked men series, an elegant and impressive composition.
- The Da Vinci experience - Line dedicated to the undisputed Florentine genius, composed of the Da Vinci Compressor, the Vitruviano Chorus and the Gioconda Tremolo, which refers to the same design of the Dante trilogy, but unlike the previous ones it deals exclusively with the management and modulation of the sound
- The Carlo di Pinto Signature - Pedal signed by their endorser which will be officially presented to SHG, Di Pinto is currently an established professional who collaborates with international artists such as Ricky Portera e Jose Fiorilli former keyboardist of Ligabue, his collaboration with Dolphin's has allowed to optimize the production giving a particular imprint to the use of these stompoboxes in the local live, which are the worst possible situation for a musician since he has to deal with different stages and situations every time different.
- The Black Series - An interesting reboxing of the aforementioned products totally in carbon fiber which reduces the weight factor very consistently.
- The Bass Series - A new line based on the electric bass, consisting of the Leone Overdrive and the Ariete Booster
In addition, a new type of pedal built with the Printer 3D but, certainly not least for its importance, the new packaging of Dolphin's Sounds products, which evolved from the black version known as "100 series"To get to this:
During the demo it was possible to feel the goodness of the pedals and every aspect of their construction, from the design to the choice of graphics, both Stefano and Andrea answered all the questions posed by the public, trained not only by amateurs but also by professionals such as the guitarist. The demonstrator Charles Di Pinto confirmed during the demo that it is important to get the most out of this type of analog pedals for guitar, we must not underestimate a correct power supply of the pedals, do not use cheap products and quality cables that do not lose the signal between the sound source and the amplification.
Furthermore Andrea Pratesi he also showed all the internal part of Dolphin's products, opening the chassis and showing the pcb and all the components that give life to a pedal made in Florence.
Level pedals with a price consistent with the rest of the market, which will then be compared to other products, both Italian and foreign in our possession.
