The liar year 2012, uselessly awaited amid apocalyptic anxieties and questionable prophecies, was however honest and generous with fans of good music and, in particular, with those who awaited, not without trepidation, the sequel to the "firstborn" Missing Over You of FX tunnel. The title chosen, The Acrobat, conveys in a single term the emotional parable expressed, exalted and hoarded in this new album.

The musical plot sees mostly intertwined bass, drums, guitars and vocals (with occasional but insightful bets of keyboards and synthesizers) towards a multifaceted and personal result together.
The notes of Every time, which lead to listening. The development is predictable and reassuring but it also betrays a power ready to explode; the goal seems nothing more than a pure expressive will. The sounds are really exciting, the arrangement is accurate and the inserts are balanced and measured with great timing; if you want to be malicious, you don't appreciate drum sounds too much.
A brief moment of silence allows the ear to prepare for the mature and very rich sound Sad Coffee, at first, apparently, taken for granted and already felt and instead full of strength. The disturbing atmosphere but devoid of useless pathetisms, the very well made choirs and the guitar line built with very high results, paint a deep, cold yet intense context, on which the song develops at its best.
Essentiality, a certain rustling, warm and low voice, lead us to discover waiting for, piece that grows patiently but with great awareness; there is no abandonment to virtuosity or complacency. The sound, the notes, the intertwining, are fused and conceived in a dry and simple yet very engaging way. The lock is a bit approximate.
It does not even enhance the beginning of Hang Me, a piece that sees its best part in the development but that collapses again in the chorus. The quality of the sounds and the instrumental intertwining remains, as for the previous pieces, but here there is no personality: it escapes me and is a bit boring.
Twilight, almost funereal, the atmosphere of As long as I remember, fifth track and "turning point" of the disc. The great refinement, the sounds chosen with taste and congruence, give life to something that closely resembles the Chris Isaak of Wicked Game, however with a much more exciting musical construct and without free softness. Some doubts about the conclusion.
Fantastic sound mixture of Flowery Sky, capable of rendering sounds in full clarity and with all their emotional potential. While not appreciating the contrasting variations present here, one remains fascinated by enjoying the excellent interweaving between arpeggio and carpets. It is a piece that could have been better because it was penalized by a certain disorder in its development.
The incipit of Neruda and it almost seems reductive to write about it. It is a piece that must be listened to, in whose velvety and deep folds one must immerse oneself; there is passion, self-discovery, sharing. The sincere sentimental outpouring is accompanied and underlined by a musical construct as rich as it is relevant. Applause for the choice of the Italian language: excellent result, the voice transmits much more.
Simplicity is the cipher of the beginning of Tell Me, a song that proceeds with a trend of Coldplayian inspiration, to then enrich itself with a very refined development capable of evoking some Gilmourian typicality. There is variety and richness for a bright and at the same time mild composition.
The always bitter farewell is called The Only One, in which eclectic influences and contrasting emotional tensions mix through a musical fabric spun with wisdom and measure. The emphatic and semantic-charged emphases of the guitar (undoubtedly prevailing but far from excesses) are enhanced. A bit brutal to close it.
I liked this record, not attributable to any specific genre (rock / pop ?!), much, much more than the first one: in the experience of a few years ago there was great potential and a sort of inconclusiveness, in this last work on the other hand I enjoyed rigor, order and many fascinating sounds. In conclusion, I give the record a full 8 (with an enthusiastic note of credit to the guitarist).

The lying 2012, vainly awaited between apocalyptic anxiety and questionable prophecies, was however honest and generous with fans of good music and, in particular, with those who have waited, not without trepidation, the followup of the “firstborn” “Missing Over You” by Tunnel FX. The chosen title, The Acrobat, conveys in a single term the emotional parable expressed, exalted and treasured in this new album.

The musical plot sees mostly intertwined bass, drums, guitars and vocals (with the occasional yet trenchant episodes of keyboards and synthesizers) towards a multifaceted yet personal result.
The subtle notes of ”Every time" introduces to the listening. The development is predictable and reassuring but also betrays a power ready to explode, the goal here does not seem anything but a pure expressive will. The sounds are really exciting, the arrangement is nice and the inserts are balanced and measured with great timing. Wanting to be malevolent, I'm not crazy about the drum sounds.
A brief moment of silence let your ear get ready for the mature and very rich sound in Sad Coffee. At first, apparently, it sounds already heard and predicted, yet it is pregnant with strength instead. The eerie atmosphere void of unnecessary pathetic overtones, the very well made choirs and the guitar line built with excellent results, paint a profound context, cold yet intense, on which the song develops at its best.
Essentiality, some sort of “frusciantism”, a warm and low pitched voice, lead us to discover “waiting for", a track that grows patiently but with great awareness; there is no abandonment to virtuosity nor complacency. The sound, the notes, the plot, are fused and designed in a dry and simple yet very addictive manner. The conclusion is a bit approximate..
Not even the beginning of Hang Me is too exciting, a song that gives its best part in the build up but that collapses back into the chorus instead. The sounds quality and the instrumental intertwining parts are the same as in the previous pieces, but here there is no personality: it escapes me and it is a bit 'boring.
Crepuscular, almost funereal, is the atmosphere of As Long As I Rememberr, the fifth song and the CD's “turning point”. The great refinement, the sounds chosen with taste and consistency, give life to something that closely resembles the Chris Isaak “Wicked Game” tune, but with a musical construct much more exciting and mellowness -free. Some doubts about the ending.
Fantastic is the sound mix of Flowery Sky, capable of making sounds in full clarity and with all their emotional potential. While not appreciating the contrasting variations present here, one is fascinated enjoying the excellent intertwining of arpeggios and textures. It's a song that could have been better because it suffers from a certain lack of order in its development.
Exciting is the opening of Neruda and it seems almost simplistic writing about it. It is music that should be listened to, in whose velvety and deep folds you have to dive in, there's passion, self-discovery and sharing. The sincere outpouring of love is accompanied and emphasized by a rich and relevant musical construct. Praise for the choice of the Italian language: excellent result, the voice transmits much more.
Simplicity is the code of the beginning of Tell Me, a song that goes with a coldplay-inspired trend, to enrich and then refine itself, with a development capable of evoking some gilmourish typicalness. There is variety and richness to a shiny and at the same time light composition.
The ever bitter parting is called The Only One, where eclectic influences and conflicting emotional tensions mix thanks to a musical texture strung together with wisdom and sense of measure . Intensified are the guitar ( reigning for sure but away from any excess ) underlining, emphatic and full of semantic power
This cd that can not be ascribed to any specific genre (rock / pop?), I liked it so much, much more than the first one: in the experience of a few years ago there were great potentialities and a kind of inconclusiveness. In this more recent work I rather enjoyed the rigor, the order and so many fascinating sounds. In conclusion, I give the disc a full 8 (with an enthusiastic mark on the guitarist).

The lying year of 2012, in vain hoped for by apocalyptic anxiety and improbable prophecies, ended in an honest and generous way with the followers of good music and, in particular, with those who have hoped, with certain trepidation, the second creation of the Tunnel FX, after Missing Over You. The name elegido, The Acrobat, channels in a single term the emotional parable expressed, exalted and accumulated in the previous album, in this new work.

The musical genre is mainly composed of a mixture of bass, drums, guitars and voices (with occasional short incursions of synthesizers and instruments) oriented towards a multifaceted and personal mix.
The starting notes in Everytime, the first topic, are useful. The rollout is predictable and calming, but also reveals a barrel of energy at the point of installation; the objective does not seem like anything other than pure expressive will. The sounds are truly exciting, the setting is well looked after and the insertions are balanced and balanced with great energy; to the querer be malicious, they do not appreciate the battery sounds as much.
A brief moment of silence was that your taste was prepared to appreciate the mature and richly Sad Coffee, in the beginning, apparently you escuchado and without even full strength. The mysterious atmosphere but without useless "pathos", the very well realized choruses and the guitar line constructed with excellent results, paint a profound context, often intense, in which the song develops to its maximum potential.
Essence, a warm and low voice, led us to discover Waiting For, a piece that grows with patience but with great conscience; no need to abandon virtuosity or complacency. The sound, the notes, the plot, are merged and designed in a dry and simple but very addictive form. The cierre is a little furry.
It does not exalt the beginning of Hang Me, a song that has its best part in the development, and yet it is heard again in the chorus. We are satisfied with the quality of the sounds and the instrumental interplay, as with the previous songs, but here there is no personality; in the end if I escape and it turns out to be a bit ugly.
Crepúscular, casi funerea, the atmosphere of As Long As I Remember, the fifth song and the “ecuador” of the album. The great elegance, the sounds designed with taste and consistency, give life to something that closely resembles Chris Isaak's theme, “Wicked Game”, but with a much more exciting and free musical construction. Some doubts about the glass.
Fantastic mix of sounds in Flowery Sky, capable of delivering sound sensations with all clarity and all its emotional potential. Not appreciating the changes of contrasts present here, one is left fascinated by the excellent mix of harps and colchones. It's a song that could be better, if you need a little rest in its development.
Neruda's incipit emotes and it seems simple to explain it. It is a theme that must be explored, in which the twisted and deep folds have to be buried; have passion, self-discovery and sharing. The sincere outpouring of love must be accompanied and supported by a rich and contextualized musical construction. Praise for the choice of the Italian language: excellent result, the voice conveys much more.
Simplicity is the stylistic feature at the beginning of Tell Me, a song that proceeds with “Coldplayana” inspiration, to be enriched later with a refined twist capable of evoking some “Gilmourianas” sensations. They varied and enriched this brilliant composition and, at the same time, rose.
The always forgotten love is called The Only One, where the eclectic influences and the contrasting emotional tensions are mixed together with the same musical style, achieved with wisdom and just meditation. Here the semantic power of the guitar is exalted (since dominant, but less excess). Algo brutal el cierre.
This album, which can't be classified into any specific genre (rock / pop?), I enjoyed a lot, much more than the first one: in the experience of over a year it had a lot of potential and, sometimes, something inconclusive; in this last work I appreciated rigor, order and many very fascinating sounds.
In conclusion, this album scores a full 8 (with special and enthusiastic praise for the guitar).
