Milan xx / 04/2015 - The appointment with the is repeated for the second year Digital Music Forum: a meeting dedicated to the world of music in which students and fans will be able to attend a confrontation between experts in the sector, on the important digital evolution that is through the music industry. Also this year, the meeting will be held in Naples, at the splendid location of the monumental complex of San Marcellino, thanks to the availability of the Department of Social Sciences of theUniversity of Naples Federico II and with the collaboration of the lawyer Ferdinando Tozzi (expert jurist of the permanent advisory committee for copyright and expert in entertainment law) who since last year has strongly wanted the forum in Naples.

The meeting, as well as last year, will be an opportunity to present the Digital Music Report 2015: an international document that tells the ongoing transformation, through a careful analysis of the music market with particular attention to the development of the digital side, and which therefore offers excellent points for discussion. In fact, digital channels and in particular streaming are confirmed as a fundamental driving force for the music industry and have strengthened their position in 2014, balancing at a global level, the relationship with the revenues generated by physical media.
The scenario of the music industry has never been so dynamic and requires the various protagonists of this transformation to have a constant ability to experiment and search for new solutions: the only possibility of welcoming teachers, students and experts who live around the same discussion table. every day this revolution generates an excellent opportunity for comparison and reflection on what is happening and potential future prospects.
