The Pinewood Festival kicks off in L'Aquila, two days of music and performing arts.
The Pinewood Festival Arts & Music reaches its third edition, a Festival organized by the "Coppito Cuore e Anima" association which will be held on 28-29nd June to the'Aquila. The beating heart of the event is made up of important names from the current "indie" scene such as Franco 126, Canova, Nuclear Tactical Penguins, Fast Animals and Slow Kids.
However, the program is very varied and also includes performance, sports, entertainment and workshops of various kinds. It is a festival with a strong focus on social issues and local realities whereas it undertakes to direct part of its revenues towards initiatives aimed at charity and the enrichment and support of the urban social fabric.
To demonstrate this vocation, the participation of Paolo Ruffini in a show with the participation of disabled children, the Experimental Museum of Contemporary Arts, the Academy of Fine Arts and the National League of Poetry Slam.
The chosen location is the city park of Murata Gigotti within the hamlet of Coppito connoting the festival as a driving force to relaunch tourism in areas unfortunately hit by the severe earthquake of ten years ago.
