Giancarlo Petroni is a sound expert, sound mixer and sound designer. He began his professional career in the music field and then specialized in film and audiovisual productions, in particular working as a sound re-recording mixer and dialogue editor. His first written work "Resonances, the supreme knowledge of sound", published in 2012 (Venexia Editrice), addresses the issue of the sound phenomenon not from the point of view of the sound technician profession, but above all as regards the aspects of order metaphysical. In this sense it is underlined how the science of sound and waves governs an infinite number of phenomena and processes, thus becoming a knowledge and a faculty of learning that is much deeper and more essential than is generally considered.
