Guitarshow 2021 - Meet thanks to Music

Alberto Ziliotto

When I heard that the guitar show was going to take place this year, I said to myself: GOOD! Finally a concrete step for Music.

Music that has been playing in their rooms / studios / garages for too long now. I immediately got the tickets without waiting for someone to invite me to play because I really wanted to meet people I met online during the pandemic and play, and not just play, but also talk about music.
The Guitar show is an event mainly oriented to the world of the electric guitar and related. I was lucky enough to participate with my acoustic guitar in the stand of "Piazzo musical instruments". Thanks to the distributor "Adagio Italia", I had a workstation available to make the new "Acus one for street"And the"Walden Guitars". The volume was not too high, although a little annoying background noise was often perceived due to the numerous people testing instruments, amps and pedals.

While I was playing, I found that almost forgotten emotion of looking down to see the fretboard of the guitar and then lifting it up and meeting the gaze of a large group of people who listened to me. It was exciting to experience this feeling again!

In this fair there were important names such as "Cesareo", "Braido", "Scarpato" names that I had heard of during the pandemic thanks to the interviews made online.
I have to say that at some point I wanted to go outside the pavilion to relax, but then I discovered a quieter area of the fair dedicated mainly to acoustic lutherie guitars. I think this section of the fair has a chance to grow and be made even bigger!
I also met old musician friends like Italo Iovane, brand manager for the Walden Guitars and Acus brands and Daniele Gottardo, whom I only corresponded online.

For me it was an event in which I tried to dialogue with people who were interested in my music, asking for opinions and making them understand how with the ACUS you could compete with the sounds of electric guitarists.

I am not here to make the list of exhibitors of brands of guitars / pedals / amplifiers as there were practically all I think: the common purpose was to meet the insiders

I was particularly impressed by an exhibitor illustrating the qualities of Mastro Valve's “LEM” pedal.
I got to try it with my acoustics and I think it gave a modern touch to my sound.

Il guitar show it was a fair that made me say “I'm there too as a musician and editor of AgeofAudio magazine” and I was able to see how with a good organization it is possible to realize such events even in complicated times like the one we are experiencing!
